Approved according to EN 166 (personal eye protection) as well as EN 170 (ultraviolet protection filter) for the clear lenses or EN 172 (sun protection filter for operational use) for the tinted lenses!
The uvex i-works combines the best features of other uvex safety eyewear and ensures optimum comfort even when worn for long periods thanks to its lightweight, sporty design.
The temples don't pinch either: the proven uvex Duo-Component temples are very flexible and guarantee a comfortable, but also non-slip fit!
At the same time, the panorama lens provides an optimal all-round view and does not restrict the view, so that symptoms of fatigue are avoided.
The coatings explained
☑ anti-fog: anti-fog only
☑ supravision plus: fog-free on both sides for a long time, scratch-resistant and antistatic
☑ supravision excellence: permanently anti-fog on the inside, extremely scratch-resistant and chemical-resistant on the outside, easy to clean
☑ supravision extreme: permanently anti-fog inside, scratch-resistant outside
☑ supravision sapphire: extremely scratch-resistant and chemical-resistant on both sides, easy to clean
☑ supravision variomatic: self-tinting, automatic darkening within 10 seconds and brightening after 30 seconds, otherwise identical to supravision excellence
☑ supravision clean: autoclavable and chemical-resistant, fog-free inside, extremely scratch-resistant outside
The tint makes the difference
☑ Clear / Transparent: ideal in work areas where colour perception should not be altered (e.g. for control and sorting work).
☑ Grey / Tinted: for outdoor use, as these lenses have strong anti-glare protection in contrast to clear glasses
☑ Orange / Yellow: these lenses enhance contrasts - ideal for work where maximum precision is required
☑ CBR65: enhances contrasts (C = Contrast), reduces harmful blue light (B = Blue Light Reduction) and guarantees more relaxed vision (R = Relax) with 65% transmission - perfect for monitor use
