Approved according to EN 166 (personal eye protection) as well as EN 170 (ultraviolet protection filter) for the clear or EN 172 (sun protection filter for operational use) for the tinted lenses!
Protective eyewear is often worn over a long period of time - e.g. 8 hours a day at work, or during intense exertion such as sports.
That's why it's important that the glasses fit perfectly, don't pinch anywhere and preferably aren't felt at all!
The uvex i-3 has been designed to fit any face shape and head size - thanks to a soft, adjustable nose loop and super-soft, anti-slip temple ends.
No metal was used in the manufacturing process, so these work glasses are super-lightweight and avoid uncomfortable pressure points!
Perfect for long periods of wear in the trades, construction, industry, sports, etc.
The coatings explained
☑ anti-fog: anti-fog only
☑ supravision plus: fog-free on both sides for a long time, scratch-resistant and antistatic
☑ supravision excellence: permanently anti-fog on the inside, extremely scratch-resistant and chemical-resistant on the outside, easy to clean
☑ supravision extreme: permanently anti-fog on the inside, scratch-resistant on the outside
☑ supravision sapphire: extremely scratch-resistant and chemical-resistant on both sides, easy to clean
☑ supravision variomatic: self-tinting, automatic darkening within 10 seconds and brightening after 30 seconds, otherwise identical to supravision excellence
☑ supravision clean: autoclavable and chemical-resistant, fog-free inside, extremely scratch-resistant outside
The tint makes the difference
☑ Clear / Transparent: ideal in work areas where colour perception should not be altered (e.g. for control and sorting work).
☑ Grey / Tinted: for outdoor use, as these lenses have strong anti-glare protection in contrast to clear glasses
☑ Orange / Yellow: these lenses enhance contrasts - ideal for work where maximum precision is required
☑ CBR65: enhances contrasts (C = Contrast), reduces harmful blue light (B = Blue Light Reduction) and guarantees more relaxed vision (R = Relax) with 65% transmission - perfect for monitor use
