Product description
Safely protected thanks to precision sensors
This personal single-gas detector offers maximum safety thanks to its long-life battery, fast sensor response times and robust housing!
Depending on the device, the Dräger Pac 8000 warns the user of dangerous concentrations of carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide or oxygen - and various other sensors (more than 25 variants are available).
Particularly powerful sensors with very short t-90 response times guarantee a high response speed!
The wide measuring spectrum allows versatile applications: The ozone sensor, for example, measures gas concentrations as low as 0.02 ppm, while the phosgene sensor measures from 0.01 ppm.
You do not have to change the sensor during its entire service life!
Guaranteed warning thanks to the 360° alarm
In case of dangerous gas concentrations, the Dräger Pac 8000 warns you with an acoustic and a visual alarm as well as with a noticeable vibration.
Two LEDs on the top and bottom as well as a signal tone with a volume of 90 dB provide a 360° all-round alarm that cannot be overlooked or overheard!
The measured peak concentration can be called up on the display, as can acknowledged alarms.
All dataare stored with date and time and can be read out and processed via a PC interface!
A D-Light shows you whether the functionality of the Dräger Pac 8000 has been checked and whether the device is ready for use.
Easy testing thanks to X-dock or Bump Test
The Dräger Pac 8000 was developed for extreme working conditions and, depending on the sensor, tolerates temperatures from -40 °C to 55 °C and air pressure values between 700 and 1,300 mbar!
An easily replaceable membrane filter protects the sensor from foreign bodies, dust particles and liquids.
The housing is both chemical-resistant and shockproof and meets the IP 68 requirement!
The units are colour-coded according to sensor (e.g. yellow = H2S, blue = O2...) so that confusion is avoided.
Function tests and calibrations can be carried out using the Dräger X-dock calibration station, the also compatible Dräger Bump Test Station allows function tests within a few seconds!
Dräger: Technology for life
The family-owned company Dräger, which originated in Lübeck, has stood for high-quality occupational safety products and medical supplies since 1889!
The high brand awareness is even reflected in colloquial language: due to their distinctive helmets, firefighters in the USA are also known as "Drägermen".
Dräger is particularly renowned in the field of professional breathing apparatus such as compressed air breathing apparatus as well as firefighting equipment and medical technology!
But Dräger is also one of the most relevant and popular players on the market for occupational safety products such as dust masks, protective goggles and much more.
