The design prevents backflow of the test person's breath.
There is no physical contact between the test person and the breathalyzer!
After taking the sample, a tick or an X (if alcohol is detected) is displayed depending on the test result.
The test procedure is language-neutral, the entire menu navigation is carried out with just one button and two menu navigation buttons (e.g. to view the last test results).
Like all our breathalyzers, the Dräger Alcotest 5000 is calibrated before dispatch.
We recommend calibration approx. twice a year or more often if used very frequently!
Of course, the Dräger Alcotest 5000 also works without regular calibration.
However, the results will become less accurate over time.
No mouthpieces are required when using this breathalyzer, but the funnel must be replaced after use (replacement funnels are available from us)!
