Due to its electrochemical sensor, the INNOMARK delta breath alcohol tester provides reliable results with a measurement tolerance of ± 0.06‰ at 0.50‰ BAC (blood alcohol concentration). A flow sensor for determining the breathing volume is built into the device, which measures the alcohol concentration in your breathing air and calculates the blood alcohol concentration from this.

The measurement results are shown on the display with 3 digits (with 2 decimal places for the promille display) for 5 seconds in promille, then for 2.5 seconds in mg/L and then for 2.5 seconds in % BAC (with 3 decimal places) and can be interpreted 1:1 (e.g. the display shows the value 0.36 = 0.36 promille).

For hygienic reasons and to ensure an unaltered test result, each test person should use a new mouthpiece for each test.

To maintain the measuring accuracy of this device, we recommend regular calibration (at least 1x per year). Calibration at the intervals recommended in the operating instructions will also ensure that you retain the guarantee for the sensor.  You can send the device to ACE for calibration, simply use our calibration return note.

Thanks to its handy size and compact weight (only 122 grams incl. 3 batteries), the INNOMARK delta breathalyser is the ideal companion at events where alcohol is consumed. You can also use the device the morning after to determine your residual alcohol.

The intuitive design allows even inexperienced users to take quick and precise measurements.

It is operated via a single button located on the front of the device, which can be reached equally well by right- and left-handed people due to its placement - it couldn't be easier!

• Slide down the battery cover on the back of the device and insert 3 batteries (note: batteries are not included in the delivery).
• Put a mouthpiece* on the left side opening for attaching the mouthpieces.
• Press the start button on the front of the breathalyser.
• Switch on the device by pressing the on/off button for 2.0 seconds. The sensor initialisation starts automatically and resets the sensor to a better operating state.
• After sensor initialisation, "BLOW" flashes for about 25 seconds along with beeps and the unit is ready for testing. Please perform the measurement within this time. Blow continuously and without interruption.
• through the mouthpiece for about 5 seconds. During blowing, a long beep sounds continuously.(Tip: Blow as if you were whistling without sound).
• If the blowing is interrupted, "Err" is displayed (e.g. if you did not blow continuously during the breath test). You need to start a new test, press the power button.
• If you hear two beeps and feel a vibration of the device, the breath test was successful and the test result is shown on the display. The default setting of the measuring unit is per mil (g/L), so the displayed reading can be interpreted 1:1 (0.36 = 0.36 per mil).
• If the test result exceeds the alarm level (default setting = 0.50 per mille), the screen background turns red and flashes 10 times (accompanied by a beep). If the test result is below the alarm level, the screen background is blue.
• The unit switches off automatically after approx. 25 seconds if it is not used during this time.

The unit of measurement per mille is defined as the standard. If necessary, please inform yourself about the current country-specific alcohol limits, which are available, for example, on the website of the Ministry of Transport or from automobile clubs.

This breathalyser is a high-quality and sensitive measuring device. To maintain the measuring accuracy of the electrochromic sensor, the device should be used regularly. If the device is not used for a long period of time, the sensor may dry out. We recommend to perform a breath test with the breathalyser at least 2x per month (even if you have not drunk any alcohol). In addition, you should have the breathalyser calibrated regularly: Calibration at the intervals recommended in the operating instructions will ensure that you retain the warranty for the sensor.
